Did you know we have a number of committees and teams here at SanMar Canada? Each group plays a very important role in things like organizing events, charitable efforts, and health and safety.
The committees/teams include the Social Committee, the Opportuni-Tee Team, the M&M Team, the First Aid Team and the Joint Health and Safety Committee.
If you want to be part of any of our fantastic groups, all the details are below and we can’t wait to hear what great ideas you have to offer.
The Social Committee
Our Social Committee plans and hosts events for the entire SanMar Canada family. They create fun with BBQs, potlucks, bake sales, contests and so much more. Anyone can join this committee (with their manager’s approval) and they meet once a month to organize and execute events.
The Opportuni-Tee Team
The Opportuni-Tee Team works to find ways for our SanMar Canada family to have a positive impact on our communities. This team responds to customer and employee donation requests, as well as creating fundraising and volunteer opportunities for staff. The team also meet once a month.
The M&M Team
The M&M Team is made up of managers and supervisors who have come together to strengthen their leadership through training and team building. Like the previous two teams, this group meets once a month to work on leadership development.
The First Aid Team
The First Aid Team is made up of employees who have met the provincial requirements for providing immediate and potentially lifesaving medical care before either the arrival of paramedics or being taken to a medical facility. Please let us know if you meet the requirements to assist in an emergency.
The Joint Health and Safety Committee
The Joint Health and Safety Committee is made up of worker and employer representatives working together to identify and resolve health and safety concerns in the workplace. The committee is responsible for identifying and recommending solutions to these concerns.
