The Toronto-based company serves millions of employees across the country every day, and the EFAP is designed to provide confidential, short-term counselling, to help employees and their immediate families overcome personal problems.

What areas of counselling does the EFAP cover?

Marital and relationship, stress and anxiety, legal and financial, career and vocational, family and parenting, diet and nutrition, depression, substance abuse, bereavement, anger management, self-esteem, work-related stress, harassment, healthcare navigation.

Is the EFAP fully confidential?

Yes. If an employee accesses the program voluntarily, he/she will remain fully anonymous.

How much does the EFAP cost?

There is absolutely no cost to you.

Who is eligible to sign up for the EFAP?

Any employee who is eligible to receive regular group benefits is able to access this program.

As part of HumanaCare’s continuous effort to provide you with the best possible wellness services, it has launched a new employee portal and mobile app, available in the app store.

When you sign up to the HumanaCare app, you’ll be able to:

• Access the portal with your personal username and password
• Access a collection of health and wellness articles, videos, webinars, and assessments
• Access a new mobile app and have resources at your fingertips
