As the second week of 2022 comes to an end, we’re delighted to share our second Authentic Appreciation of the New Year, and this one is in appreciation of Brigitte Anderson.
Brigitte, our Supply Chain Specialist, was nominated by Lyle Secret for her work in keeping the show on the road when the supply chain, both nationally and internationally, was under severe pressure.
Here’s what Lyle had to say:
“I would like to nominate Brigitte Anderson for an Authentic Appreciation for her work over the past month in maintaining a fragile supply chain in Vancouver through both the global issues and more urgently, the recent flooding that isolated Vancouver from the rest of the country. Brigitte worked with both our operations team and our freight providers to maintain a flow of containers to our door and then have the containers moved so the next day’s containers could arrive.”
“Those of you at the Vancouver location have seen our parking lot turned into a short-term container storage area from time to time. Brigitte has built, maintained and leaned on the relationships with our freight providers so that we are at the top of the list when there is an opening and we can move some containers around. This has helped us provide the service to our customers that they expect despite us being in the middle of a natural disaster.”
Authentic Appreciations provide a platform for you to acknowledge the effort your colleagues go to each and everyday.
If you’d like to nominate someone you work with, please get in touch, and once it’s approved by senior management, we’ll share it on The Stitch and on the internal Facebook page.
