  1. Combed Cotton: “Combed” is a finishing process used on cotton yarn to remove short fibers and straighten or arrange longer fibers in parallel order which results in a smoother yarn used in finer garments. The combing process polishes the yarn before the fabric weaving process, offering high quality yarns with excellent strength, fineness and uniformity.
  2. Ring Spun Cotton: This is a special yarn construction made by continuously twisting the cotton fibers. The result is a stronger yarn with a significantly softer hand feel than most common cotton yarns.
  3. Singles: This is a reference to thread weight or number of single twists of cotton yarn used in soft jersey fabric construction.  For example, 30 singles indicates a high thread weight, using a finer thread and tighter weave for softer, finer feel.
