May is Mental Health Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Awareness Month in Canada, and though we’re already a few weeks into the month, there is still plenty of time to learn and share tips to improve mental health, and shed the stigma away from mental health issues.

In any given year, 1 in 5 people in Canada will personally experience a mental health problem or illness. There are plenty of resources online to spot the signs and learn more about various mental health issues.

Mental health is important and it can be affected in many different ways. Don’t hesitate to use these resources or talk to friends and family.
