
Yesterday on August 15, it was National Relaxation Day, a relatively new National Day made popular in 1985 by 9-year-old Sean Moeller who, even at his young age, recognized the importance of rest.
How did you relax over the weekend? Was it with friends and family? Was it some outdoor activities?
What are some of you relaxation tips or ‘Do’s & Don’ts’ that you could share?
According to Sean, people shouldn’t do any cleaning on National Relaxation Day and should focus on more rest which will in turn make us happier and more productive!
Here are some of the ways you can relax this week:
- Staying away from screens, especially before bed, and focusing on a screenless hobby
- Meditation or yoga which can be healing for the body and mind
- Treat yourself! Spa day, cheat meals, or shopping spree!
