
SanMar Canada’s BMO Advantage Program has been running for two weeks now, and we’re back to offer you more information and answer any questions that you might have.

How can I bank free with BMO?
Simply open our Performance Chequing account & as long as you deposit $1,500/month into your account, you will not be charged any fees. The $1,500 does not need to be a lump sum deposit, as long as all of your deposits, from the 1st of the month to the end of the month, add to $1,500 you will not be charged any fees.
Do I need to keep minimum balance in my BMO chequing account?
No, you do not need to keep any minimum balance in your account to have free banking, as long as you deposit $1,500 per month into your chequing account, you’ll not pay for banking fees.
Do I need to have a chequing account with BMO to take advantage of the other product discounts?
Yes, you need to be a BMO client in order to take advantage of the Bank at Work product offers, and we consider you our client if you have your everyday banking with us. BMO MasterCard is the only product which is an exception to this “rule”-you can apply for a BMO MasterCard through the Bank at Work site without opening the account.
Do I need to visit BMO branch to open an account?

If I already bank with BMO, can I still participate?
Yes. Reach out to Tanja Gacic (604-360-7985) or visit your local BMO branch to switch to free banking.
If I already work with someone at BMO, do I have to work with you?
No, you can deal with whoever you prefer at BMO and take advantage of Bank at Work program.
How long is Bank at Work available to me?
For as long as you are employed with the current employer and the employer chooses to participate in the program. If your employer ever decides no longer to participate, you will be informed and will be given appropriate notice.
