Join SanMar Canada’s Committees/Teams

Are you someone who wants to add to the incredible culture we already have here at SanMar Canada? Or maybe you’re someone who wants to make a difference in the community?

Are you a manager who wants to help in strengthening leadership? Or are you trained in providing medical care and want to help out should the need to arise?

Well, whoever you are, and whatever your intentions are, we have a number of committees and teams that are always looking for new recruits. If you want to be part of any of our fantastic groups who do so much, all the details are below.

The Social Committee

Our Social Committee plans and hosts events for the entire SanMar Canada family. They create fun with BBQs, potlucks, bake sales, contests and so much more. Anyone can join this committee (with their manager’s approval) and the committee meets once a month to organize and execute events.

The Opportuni-Tee Team

The Opportuni-Tee Team works to find ways for our SanMar Canada family to have a positive impact on our communities. This team responds to customer and employee donation requests, as well as creating fundraising and volunteer opportunities for staff. The team also meet once a month.

The M&M Team

The M&M Team is made up of managers and supervisors who have come together to strengthen their leadership through training and team building.  Like the previous two teams, this group meets once a month to work on leadership development.

The First Aid Team

The First Aid Team is made up of employees who have met the provincial requirements for providing immediate and potentially lifesaving medical care before either the arrival of paramedics or being taken to a medical facility. Please let us know if you meet the requirements to assist in an emergency.

The Joint Health and Safety Committee

The Joint Health and Safety Committee is made up of worker and employer representatives working together to identify and resolve health and safety concerns in the workplace. The committee is responsible for identifying and recommending solutions to these concerns.
