Family Support Box

Being part of a family means appreciating and respecting differences, celebrating milestones as one, and supporting one another when times are tough.

At SanMar Canada, family is at the core of everything we do, which is why the Opportuni-Tee Team is delighted to announce its latest initiative – The Family Support Box.

If you, or someone you work with is struggling, and could do with a helping hand, you can anonymously place a note in the Family Support Box and the request will be reviewed by HR and senior management.

With an initiative like this, we fully understand and respect the privacy of our teammates, so be confident in the fact that every effort will be made to maintain your privacy at all times.

Members of the HR Department in our three locations are the only people with keys to the boxes.

Should you want to be contacted directly, place your note in the box with your name and department. If you are working remotely, please email FamilySupport@sanmarcanada.com.

Again, with privacy being so important, this email will only be read by Kristal Albertson (President) and Stacey Rippon (Vice President of Sales and Operations).

 

Where are the boxes located?

Vancouver: In the back hallway leading to the warehouse from the lunch room.

Calgary: Beside the employee time clock located in the warehouse entrance door to the showroom.

Mississauga: Near the current suggestion box, in the main corridor beside the lunch room.

 

We may not all be related to one another, and we all live our own lives outside of the workplace, but ultimately, when you work with us, you’re part of a family.
