- With all the time my wife and I have had to spend together, so far from loved ones, it has made our relationship stronger and made both of us aware of what is truly important in life.

- Yes! 2021 has been a difficult and challenging year. The Covid-19 pandemic caused a lockdown which affected the whole world. My faith and belief in God gives me the strength and hope that this pandemic will be over. I am thankful to God that I remain to be healthy and already vaccinated, and I have a stable job while others are laid off. During this pandemic, I learn the importance of family more. It is sad that I am far from my own family, but I am lucky that I have cousins in the States who are always in constant contact with me. I also have friends and co-workers who are supportive, helpful and kind. Faith, family and friends are the most important things in life.

- My daughter Kayla turned 16 during Covid in 2020 and the roads were empty while people figured out what the pandemic was all about. This gave me a great opportunity to teach her to drive in very little traffic, just her and I and some amazing conversations. It was a really unique experience for which I’m truly thankful. Even now she will often ask me to go for a drive and I rarely say no, it’s incredibly high-quality time spent together. A great bond that was made safer and more special during these difficult years.
- My wife Alana is a personal trainer. We acquired some gym equipment and have maintained a great fitness schedule throughout CV19 as the gyms remain closed. Exercise really helps keep my mental state healthy and strengthens my body’s natural immunity which for me is extremely important.
- Covid has made life and business very difficult. We should all be very proud that the strength of our people has kept our service levels extremely high and our customers happy. Good golfers (not me :)) love it when the conditions are tough as it inevitably lets the cream rise to the top and leaves the weaker players exposed. I believe that the tough conditions of Covid provides opportunity for the talents of our amazing SMC family to shine.
