Things I do during COVID or unknown times, and when I am down.
- Always get out for fresh air around the neighborhood.
- Keep in touch with friends – there is always that one person that will brighten your day on the days you are down.
- All the kids in the neighborhood – I make sure to stop and kick the ball with them 🙂 best part of the day when I see the neighbor kids.
- Read motivational quotes, I am not much on reading but I like to read small motivational stories (more to do with my faith and spiritual practice)
- I find Meditation helps, too – I love it!
- Spend time with my immediate family, watch TV with the boys – like sports that I might not normally watch.
- Listen to music, all kinds of music nowadays.
When I need a time out, I give myself that time I wouldn’t normally give myself before COVID. Social media helps but sometimes it’s great to turn off, turn off the news once – take a day off from the world.
I find sometimes just grabbing a piece paper and writing down what you feel helps, then I don’t read it I shred it up – it’s great!
These are just a few of the many things that I can think of.
