Now, have I ever been successful in a New Years resolution? Not even once. For me, the longest a New Years Resolution has lasted was a total of 10 days. This year, I want to make a change and pick one (just one) resolution that I know is obtainable and will benefit me in the long run.
My New Years Resolution: No more ordering delivery Starbucks.
Now, I know this doesn’t sound huge or life changing by any means, but if you saw my credit card bills, I think you might understand where I am coming from; and that’s the great thing about resolutions! They can be as big or as small as you want – it’s completely your choice. This resolution is yours to create and yours only! Just take some time to think about what, how and why you would like to make a difference in your life. So let me finish by asking this, what is your New Years resolution?
The New Year has often been referred to as a refresher, a clean slate or even as a complete restart. The ‘New Year, New Me’ phenomenon poses as a brand new chapter in your life so that you can leave the messiness of the previous year behind and focus on yourself and your growth in the present moment. How do we do this? With the help of a New Years resolution, of course!
