I’d like to nominate Chad MacLeod for an authentic appreciation award. Chad has the tough task of ushering SanMar Canada into the tech future with regards to the implementation and utilization of Microsoft Teams.
As with any new tech there is plenty of resistance to change and growing pains. I’m sure as the “face” of Teams Chad is facing his share of questioning looks and resistance. To his credit Chad has put in a lot of time looking into Teams and is always quick to answer with a suggestion on how to make people’s Teams integration as easy as possible. Even if not everything will be just as easy as people are used to I think the sum of the parts will be greater than the whole as far as Teams is concerned or else it wouldn’t have the upper managements support. That is why even though I have sometimes groaned at the idea of Teams I still recognize the value of the cause Chad is championing. –Alex Berdichevsky
I would like to nominate Arje Baltazar for an Authentic Appreciation because whenever I ask him for a favour, he is always there to help even if he is busy.

I would like to nominate the following individuals for their hard efforts on Monday night. These individuals are Talat Hasan, Maria Zygmanska, Jamar Morrison, Omar Hanson, Shaniqua Crossdale, and Tegreary Mckenzie. We were extremely busy on Monday, with a few call-outs as well, but these individuals stayed to finish the shift to make sure all orders were picked, checked and invoiced. They stayed till 11:30pm, all while coming in 2 hours earlier for overtime. Without their hard work and dedication, these orders wouldn’t have made it to the customer on time. Thank you all for your hard work.

ABOVE AND BEYOND return and ABOVE AND BEYOND SERVICE from Dave Cranston 🙂
Here is another example of service, see attachment for a return he delivered to the Calgary office.
The customer made a mistake ordered the wrong color of bags, we did receive the replacement for the correct ones. To return this huge return the customer had to pay BIG bucks, but not to worry with our Superman Dave here, he took over and dropped off the boxes himself to our Calgary office. This way he was able to stop at other customers on his way there and back to Edmonton. Mind you I have lectured him that he must not make a habit of doing this, can’t help it the mother in me does come out and I have to make sure I take care of him – 🙂
Honestly, I feel very lucky to work someone who truly enjoys his job and truly cares for his customers like family. Must say he left me speechless and it takes a lot for me to go quiet as we all know.
Thanks Dave for all that you do, I don’t tell you enough but our customers truly do love you! At the same time, I would like to thank Calgary shipping for their help – Tommy, Dave says you are a beauty and he really appreciated the help!! You guys all ROCK!!
