Let’s Team Up!

I wanted to share with each of you that multiple departments at SanMar Canada are starting to use Microsoft Teams as a means to communicate with their team members, other departments, and the parties that they speak to on an ongoing basis within the organization.  The Platform is designed to have more pervasive chat conversations, Video or Voice calls, and “Awesome Team collaboration” having the ability to create “Teams” and communicate with all the members of a team much more quickly and efficiently. A few managers and groups are also using Teams to record their ongoing meetings (for future viewing) or to create training videos for new staff 🙂

Teams is quickly evolving within organizations all over the world… and there are now over 500,000 companies (the majority of the fortune 500 companies) using Microsoft Teams exclusively due to the fact that most people like to communicate differently in 2019. Internal Email communication is starting to disappear at least within organizations, and the only emails they continue to use are the one’s coming from outside companies, customers, suppliers etc. All of the internal communication can be better managed within Microsoft Teams.

Change takes time in organizations when it comes to the tools we use, but I truly believe that planting seeds’ with the users within a company can greatly influence change especially when it is something that we all do constantly, “ Communicate” .
