Authentic Appreciation

This week’s recipients: Desroy Frazer, Hare Guarin, Stephen (Bull) Warwick, and Gaylia Osbourne

I would like to authentically appreciate Desroy and Hare for their hard work and dedication while fixing the skids in the replenishing area.  They both worked diligently and with great care to get the project done safely, quickly and efficiently.   Their hard work and commitment to safety is greatly appreciated! I would like to authentically appreciate Bull. This past week we have received some terrible weather and yesterday was no exception. When walking into the building, I noticed that the sidewalk was a little slick. Within minutes, before I knew it, Bull was outside clearing and salting the sidewalks! This made for a much safer trek into the building for the 9:00am shift. Today, we were getting low on cream and again, before I knew it, Bull had his coat on asking if we needed anything else. Turns out we needed some supplies for the Valentine’s Day potluck and he was happy to pick those items up for me! Bull, thank you for always lending a helping hand (or two), it’s certainly appreciated!

I would like to nominate Gaylia for an Authentic Appreciation.  Gaylia is on the front line as are all the customer service representatives, sometimes the days are challenging and then there are other days that are fantastically rewarding. Today, I think Gaylia had the best of both worlds.  We had a customer who was very frustrated with us as she had sold in some product to her customer. Unfortunately, after the holiday season, our name brand jackets have been wiped out.
On top of this, our pricing had gone up and Gaylia handled the frustration with great class.  I spoke with the customer and explained the situation, after a couple of conversations, our customer feels so bad that Gaylia had to receive the frustration. The customer thinks highly of Gaylia as her customer service representative and I have spoken with many customers in Gaylia’s territory and over and over again, I get to hear wonderful comments of how professional Gaylia is.
Thanks to you Gaylia, this customer completely understands that timing has a lot to do with large purchases.  We are going to work with her to find a jacket where we do have the stock.  Also I appreciate that Gaylia helps to keep our customers loyal to Sanmar Canada.

I would like to nominate Hare for helping out the outbound team with pulling the cardboard out of the trailer, which involved moving a lot of skids that were blocking the cardboard trailer. It was a long and time consuming process but Hare took the time to handle the task, which was very important to the outbound team. Thank you Hare for taking care of these tasks and having a good attitude about everything.
