Back To School Initiative Raises Over $5000

Over the last couple of weeks, through a number of different fundraising efforts like a silent auction, events in our three warehouses and through payroll deductions, the SanMar Canada team has raised an incredible amount of money for our Back-to-School initiative.

 

We are delighted to share with you that a whopping $2559.20 has been raised internally and we want to thank each and every one of you for donations.

But wait, it gets even better…

The company generously agreed to match the amount raised, so the total fund stands at $5118.40.

It’s great to see our teammates working together and providing children with crucial school supplies.

As announced before the fundraising efforts started, anyone who donated to the fund was entered into draw for a chance to win a $25 SanMar Canada gift card, and the winners can talk to their manager about placing their order.

Thank you to everyone who took part in this initiative, and you can be confident that 90 children who are related to members of our SanMar Canada family are getting a little help as they head back to the classroom.

Our charitable efforts for 2021 don’t stop there though. As we get closer to the holiday season, we’d love to hear what charities or causes you’d like to support.
