We would like to recognize the following people…

Check out this week’s Authentic Appreciations below.

I would like to nominate the following employees for the Authentic Appreciation Award.

All of the employees listed below came into work on Saturday, June 3rd, giving up their own personal time on the weekend, to help the warehouse as we had to add toggles to the Dryframe jackets (DF7656, DF7655, DF7655L and DF7656L) which arrived at the warehouse without any on the jacket’s strings.

Without this help from these wonderful workers, the task of applying the toggles would have been so much more difficult and time consuming.

It was a tedious task at times, but we fought through it and accomplished a lot!

I would like to recognize:

  • Anna Oddell
  • Trevor Lewis
  • Norbert Stevens
  • Maria Espinosa
  • Dolcelin Crooks
  • Ritchie Turner
  • Marcus Morgan
  • Richard Davis

Thank you!

Yannie stepped up when I missed a couple of days, due to illness, just before Hamid’s departure. She got cakes, veggie + fruit platters and FABRIC MARKERS!!! We all signed a “Good bye T-Shirt!” what better way to remember his time here, right? Without Yannie NONE of this would have happened, I was too sick. L Thank you Yannie for all your help in pulling off this wonderful celebration.

Omar Hanson and Shenice Hall go out of their way to help me; lifting the boxes and get my order done by picking hi-bay products and help me find the boxes.

I would like to nominate Peter for being the best IT person a company could ask for. Even on his time off, he runs priority reports for us and does it with a smile. On that note, he’s always the first to smile and greet you in the morning and has never altered his can-do attitude and happy persona. It’s also important to note how absolutely modest he is, as he will always redirect a compliment back to the person that noticed his great work. An amazing team player overall and such an important part of this company 🙂

I’d like to appreciate Sarb, Ken, Fred, JC, Yanni, Orlando, Shannon, Leilani & Viti for putting aside their regular jobs on June 7 and helping to retag a shipment of OGIO bags that were sent to us with incorrect hangtags. It took teamwork to pull the skids from high bay then unpackage, retag, repackage and then put some of it back while setting the others aside for transfer to the Mississauga location.

Thanks to everyone for their help!

Lyle
