I would like to take this time to express our unwavering appreciation and gratitude for Ian. On almost a daily basis, I hear AEs (and myself) ask “What would we do without Ian? Let’s hope we never find out!”. He’s come through for us in heroic ways on so many different occasions that it’s almost impossible to pin point one specific event because of the sheer volume he’s done so. Today, I am able to point one such time out. One Friday, one of our couriers only delivered one of four packages that they desperately needed for a weekend event. Because of the time of day we received the call (well after 6PM EST), we worried about how we would resolve this problem. The shipping the department was emailed about the situation desperately asking for help, and while I was on the phone with the courier trying to make sure they deliver the missing packages, Ian calls Randy Vilgrain and says (in his usual, nonchalant way) “Hey. Give me her name and number. I’ll deliver it myself tomorrow.”
How many people do you know would think nothing of giving up their own time on the weekend to drive into the city to do something like this for (effectively) a complete stranger?
Ian’s customer service attitude is something to behold, and something to try to aspire to. I would not be shocked, in the least, if a number of the customers we have stick around because of Ian.
Thank you Ian, for all that you do. I don’t know that we can ever effectively express our gratitude to you, but we sure want to try.
Thank you,
Mindi
