The theme for Black History Month 2024 is Black Excellence: A Heritage to Celebrate; a Future to Build.
- Valentine’s Day – The Hallmark Holiday on Feb. 14. Mark it on your calendar’s or risk possible contempt from your partner! But in all seriousness, a day to share passion and love with friends and family can’t be all bad, right?
- Family Day – Coming this year on Feb. 19, a recently added statutory holiday to give workers an extra day off and to give people time to spend with their families.
- Pink Shirt Day – Feb. 28. Pink Shirt Day is an annual event to stand against bullying and show support to those who may feel bullied. Participants wear pink shirts and attend or host informative events to raise awareness about bullying.
