Authentic Appreciations!

June has been a month for the Authentic Appreciations record book! So much recognition and acknowledgment of the fantastic work done by fantastic coworkers and it’s great to see and provides the perfect summer vibes!

This week, Jorge Castorela goes back-to-back with another uplifting AA, this time from Nancy, and the Vancouver Receiving Team goes above and beyond (as always).

“I would like to Authentically Appreciate Jorge Castorela.

I’d come into the office last week and expressed that I was having issues with my phone and laptop all day. He came over a few moments after and handed me a can of ginger ale to make me feel better because I was ‘having a bad day’. This instantly put a smile on my face.

Jorge, your act of kindness truly made my day. I am grateful that you are a part of our Sanmar family.”

This AA for the Vancouver Team comes from Lyle:

“I’d like to Authentically Appreciate the Vancouver Receiving Team for 2 reasons on the same inbound shipment.  First – they realized while unloading the container that several of the boxes were weighing less than others of the same sku. This identified that there were cases missing some shirts in them.  Second – they spent most of 2 days opening all the cases of the shipment and counting all the units to see how many cases were actually missing units.  The ability to recognize the problem and the willingness to stop the receiving process to make it right shows the attention to our values”
