The year of the Water Rabbit on the Chinese calendar will begin on January 21st!
With the year of the Tiger over, the year of the Rabbit is supposed to bring in relaxation, quietness, and more. The rabbit is known as a gentle and tender animal in the 12-animal calendar and embodies yin, which is the passive principle of the universe.
The Water Rabbit zodiac sign is said to be a well-known, intuitive, and thoughtful person, while also sensitive and easily offended. People born after Jan. 21st will be the first Water Rabbits since 1963.
The overall energy of 2023 is likely to be gentle and calm with people looking for “a more balanced life.”
The Chinese calendar rotates in 60-year cycles based on 12 earthly branches, each represented by an animal year and five heavenly stems — wood, fire, earth, metal and water.
