Our Donation To Senior Services Society

The Opportuni-Tee Team continues to send out donations and our latest shipment has arrived at a organization that supports the seniors in our society who might need a helping hand through the warmer months.

We recently donated 100 hates to the Seniors Services Society of BC, which is an organization in New Westminster that offers local and provincial programs and services to support vulnerable older adults to live as independently as possible.

A spokesperson for the society told us that our donation went down quite well at a recent event:

“We had City Council, city staff from emergency preparedness and fire, library, BC Housing, SFU Gerontology, Community, Salvation Army who attended and who shared information and resources on emergency preparedness around the cooling season. Thank you for your support. The hats were a big draw and clients were very grateful.”

Thanks to everyone who was involved in this donation to make sure that seniors in BC are being looked after this summer.
