SanMar Canada’s Activity Challenge gets underway this Friday (1st), so it’s time to start thinking about how you can turn your everyday exercise into points and help your team climb the table.
Activities include, but are not limited to, yoga, meditation, stretching, walking, running, swimming, biking, weight-lifting, soccer, basketball, sit-ups, squats, push-ups, lunges.
Make sure to send any pictures you take while earning some points to seano@sanmarcanada.com, so we can share your efforts with the wider team.

All the details you’ll need for a month of moving this March are here:
- The Activity Challenge will start on April 1st and come to an end on April 30th.
- Teams have been chosen at random with members of each team from different locations.
- For those working in our warehouses, one hour of work will go towards your total (Mon-Fri only)
- Pick any exercise you want, time yourself and hold onto that time.
- 1 minute of any activity is equal to 1 point, with a minimum of 15 minutes of the activity.
The five team leaders are:
- Team 1 – Lorena Gordon
- Team 2 – Darren McCready
- Team 3 – Tammy Midttun
- Team 4 – Seán O’Regan
- Team 5 – Stephanie Clarke
Here is the calendar for the Activity Challenge, so have your times for each week ready:
- Week 1 – April 1st – April 3rd
- Week 2 – April 4th – April 10th
- Week 3 – April 11th – April 17th
- Week 4 – April 18th – April 24th
- Week 5 – April 25 – April 30th
Each Monday morning for the month of April, your team leader will collect your team’s total minutes and submit them all to be logged.
