SanMar Canada’s Activity Challenge

With the days getting longer and the late evening sun breaking through the clouds, the spring is the perfect time to get active, get your body moving and get your blood pumping.

The Social Committee is pleased to announce the next installment of the SanMar Canada Activity Challenge, as we look forward to a month of moving this March.

Activities include, but are not limited to, yoga, meditation, stretching, walking, running, swimming, biking, weight-lifting, soccer, basketball, sit-ups, squats, push-ups, lunges.

Before committing to this, you might have some questions that you want answered. All of the info is below, and you can always contact your local Social Committee team member.

How long does it last?

The activity challenge will run from March 1st to April 1st.

How do I keep track of exercise time?

Pick any exercise you want, time yourself and hold onto that time.

How does the points system work?

1 minute of any activity is equal to 1 point, with a minimum of 15 minutes of the activity.

How do I get involved?

Email JillB@sanmarcanada.com or sign up in the lunchroom before Friday, February 25th.

How do I become a team leader and what’s involved?

Email JillB@sanmarcanada.com and collect your team’s minutes before reporting them to Jill Bickel.

How are the teams decided?

Teams will be chosen at random with members from different locations.

Activity challenges encourage us to track our physical activity, which is so important for our health and well-being, but it also encourages us to get to know our co-workers and fellow team members.
