Anti-Bullying Day in Canada is in exactly two weeks, and we’re asking you to wear pink on Wednesday, February 23rd, to raise awareness of the major problem that is bullying.
It’s an issue in our schools, workplaces, homes and online, and with one in five students affected by bullying, the chances are that you or someone you know is being impacted.
To recognize bullying, it’s important to know what it actually is: “Bullying is a form of aggression where there is a power imbalance; the person doing the bullying has power over the person being victimized.”
We’d love to see the SanMar Canada family get involved and show our support against bullying in all forms, so find that bright, pink t-shirt and perform a random of act of kindness on the 23rd.
Make sure to send pictures of you rocking that anti-bullying spirit to seano@sanmarcanada.com and we’ll post it on The Stitch and the internal Facebook page.
Remember, kindness matters and friendship is power.
