The Big Screen: October Releases in Canada

Now that film production is back up and running after an enforced break, expect your local cinema schedule to be packed with new releases over the coming months.

Canadians will have the choice of 25 brand new films this month, including the latest in the James Bond series, “No Time To Die.” With the help of IMDB, here is your complete guide to what’s coming out:

 

October 1st

The Many Saints of Newark – A look at the formative years of New Jersey gangster Tony Soprano.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage – Tom Hardy returns to the big screen as the lethal protector Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters.

The Addams Family 2 – The Addams get tangled up in more wacky adventures and find themselves involved in hilarious run-ins with all sorts of unsuspecting characters. 

Supposition – After his classmate is charged with the murder of their professor and forced to fire her incompetent lawyer, first-year law student Calvin West takes on the case himself.

 

October 2nd

Riverfront Romance – After saving up for years, writer Cara Durant finally buys her dream house on the riverbank of her hometown, only to discover a hydro dam being built right in front of it, spearheaded by the handsome and nomadic Riley Evans.

 

October 7th

October 8th
